Called Rev-N-Nator but didn't get an answer (I get the impression this is a small operation and they get busy).  So I sent them a message from their website and asked they call me when they have time....  they called me fairly quick.  Right away before I could even tell them what I did or what I want to see happen they said not to worry and if it's not working they will replace it for free.  The guy's name was Troy and he wanted to make sure I knew that he stands behind his product and will take care of me.  Now at this point he doesn't know who I am nor that I post on a lot of forums.  He went on to ask some very detailed questions and from what I took of it he really cares and is very eager to solve the issue regardless of fault.

Based on the customer service I would HIGHLY recommend the Rev-N-Nator.  Not saying it's going to give you the HP gains he claims (and it just might give you that HP he claims), but based off the running difference I saw on my engine and the ease in which it was to work with him on the replacement.  I was so happy with how he handled it I ordered 2 more Rev-N-Nators at the end of the call.

He also told me he's coming out with a specifically designed coil just for the Rev-N-Nator.  I think it's still a couple months away, but might be worth getting if it's anything like the product he produces now.

I was looking at getting a couple of these myself, but definitely want to hear how they stand behind a defective product first.  Plus, I hope this isn't a common problem, at $200 it better last longer than I will!

Thank CODY you helped me make my decision, liked the idea of the REV over the MSD because of the "closer to stock" look, instead of this huge red box, but wasn't sold because no one had any real experience with customer support or product warranty, thanks again CODY, I'll be ordering a REV this week

:iagree: I've talked to him a couple times. Once before I bought it and once before I installed it a year later. I'm not surprised by your comments Cody. It would be great to get some follow-up as to what the problem was.

That sounds like great customer support, awesome to hear this still exists today.  Max HP is more important with the Roadrunner than its going to be with the Barracuda, and the main attraction of these for me is the built in rev limiter and mostly stock look.  If it also outperforms my MP orange boxes, all the better!

Looks like the RevNnators are all backordered.  Not in stock at Mancini or at R/T Garage.

When I bought mine from R/T Garage I had to wait a bit to get it. I think they do production runs in batches as demand dictates.

Here's an update....  I have sent a couple emails and left a phone message.  The last I heard from Troy was on 4/22/14 and today it's 5/6/14.  No reply to my emails asking for an update nor a response to the voicemail I left him.  I'll keep trying to communicate with him and keep you guys updated on what happened.

Starting to get worried.... hope he's just out of the office or something like that.  :dunno:

I recently spoke with Laura who was very nice.  I told her that I was going to be out her way and If I could stop by to pick one up.  She couldn't have been nicer.  Said she would have one waiting and asked if I would like a tour of their restoration shop.  He who can resist that.  I'll know if a few weeks when I'm there.

Troy called me a few minutes ago and said they found the problem.  It was a coil driver that went bad and it's not very common.  He said the box is fixed and he'll ship it out to me.  The other 2 I ordered are still 2 to 3 months out.   Sounded like he's super busy, but in a good way.

Sure hope they work ok, Darcy has one in his racecar. We don't need/want any headaches with it come race day.

I have the Chrome Mopar ignition box on my stock hp383. Would the Rev-a-nator be a waste of money to buy ?
