Yes MSD Master Blaster 2

With my limited experience, the only other thing I can think of to check is where your rev-limiter is set.   :dunno:

I spoke to Tony on the phone he seems to think there is interference coming from something electrical in the engine bay. He said the Rev is more sensitive to interference than the Mopar box.  :clueless:

Very soon I hope. The car is now at a stand still waiting on the engine :pullinghair:

Have you got yours installed yet?  If so, what's your thoughts?

My Rev-N-Nator quit working today.  Tried to start the engine and it would not start.  Didn't take long to figure out the Rev-N-Nator stopped working.  The only thing I did was unplug the battery over winter to keep it from discharging.  Plugged the battery back in and the Rev-N-Nator was not working.  Went and got a cheap $20 Napa ECU and it fired right up.  I have contacted Rev-N-Nator and I will let you know what they say, but for $200 I was hoping it would last longer then the 3 to 4 hours in the last year I've used it.

Well, just got a call from my engine builder...seems the Rev-N-Nator quit working today after a couple of pulls on the dyno... :(

This info is good.  Im getting skeptical of this product now that it is susceptible to "electrical interference."  Sounds like this unit should have triple insulation to prevent this from happening.  That would be difficult to diagnose.

Sorry to hear it didn't go well and while you're on the Dyno of all things.  That really sucks.  Keep us updated.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

A little positive update from my engine builder.....When he called this morning he was quick to blame the Rev-N-nator for no spark....After I hung up the phone I got to thinking and called him back to suggest checking the new Mopar distributor that I bought from Mancini's and sure enough the pick-up inside was loose and backed off creating a huge gap....Fixed all the loose stuff inside the distributor (still not impressed with the play inside) and got some pretty impressive pulls.
I'll try and post numbers later...

I'll see if he'll swap in a stock ECU for some comparisons, but at this point he's not to impress with my "stock looking" parts.....He likes big aftermarket stuff...like MSD etc...

Good to hear Alan.
What coil are you running with the Rev-N-Nator?

Yes. that's what the engine builder wants, but I want to keep it stock looking as possible. I already have to paint the MSD coil black since he didn't like the date coded original repro I supplied :screwy:He also replaced my new repro "402" oil pan for a deeper Mildon pan......These darn engine builders just don't get the "stock" appearance thing :pullinghair:

Yep, fine line between performance, reliability, and stock appearance.

The engine builder supplied the recommended MSD one....I'm not sure which MSD one it is.
