repairable or repro?

opinions on if the fender can be saved or not. overall it's in great shape except this one little area ......

That is pretty easy fix actually. But you are best to remove the fender to get to the damaged area :2thumbs:

awesome, thanks guys! i'd much rather keep the original mopar metal. too bad the hood isn't salvageable, but between a tree branch that poked a hole and creased the ridge and rust in the inner support structure, i'll pick up a cleaner used one or get a repro (does anyone know, if the flat hood is made by AMD, Sherman or ???)

nothing super exciting as far as options or rare anything, she is a plain jane early production # (first couple hundred off the LA line) /6 with 3 on the floor. but she is all mine :)  I plan on keeping the /6, but adding +4bbl or a forced induction setup. not many 6's left IMO, so it'll be fun and a my daily driver (hopefully ready by next year)

Good luck with it!  I have always had a soft spot for the 6 cylinder "muscle cars".   Not many survived.    Cant wait to see how it turns out.

Probably rotten at the bottom...I say if you have to pay a shop to strip and restore that fender, it's not worth it. :2cents:

That damaged section on the hood would get cut out if you wanted to convert it to a Shaker hood :grinyes: :popcorn: :2thumbs:

100% agree... I decided to save my fender due to body guy said he could fix it cheaper then buying a repo but then again he is working me a deal due to we are trading out some things.  Here are some pictures of my fender to give you an idea of what can be saved.

Here is what it looked like when it was first hit.....
