Mopar Lowering Springs
« on: February 22, 2014 - 10:41:55 AM »
Has anyone put the Mopar brand lowering springs on their challenger? I am thinking about lowering the car a little and wanted to hear some opinions first before doing all the work. There are a few others out there offering lowering springs, any thoughts on those?
Thanks..

If yours is a RT and just want a little lower, most cost effective IMO is to pick up a set of SRT springs that others removed when they change theirs. You might need to pick up their shocks as well or get new ones because RT's self leveling shocks. This assume you did not get the Track Package. A lot more info can be found at CT.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Hearing good things about the Eibach springs, so will probably go in that direction.

thats what i replaced mine with, being next to willow springs raceway i was able to put the stock suspension on the track 1st and go hard on it. then we put the eibachs on it and what a world of differance with that and the swaybars way less body roll and the bottoming out stopped made the car feel way more ballanced

Did you have to use any special alignment bushings to get it realigned right?

Nope just took it straight to the alignment shop afterward it doesn't lower that bad but it does suck up that rear tire gap quite well better than the fist I could fit in between the wheel and fender.
