That does suck you did not seal the deal buddy. But in all reality, you do not know what the highest bidder put in to win that auction at that price, to me i think he got a real bargain, those parts are very hard to come by buddy. But do not beat yourself up too bad about it.
This is a part i bought many many years ago off E-bay, i waited until the last seconds of the auction and put my highest bid in of $500 US, i won the auction at $495 US, this part here, by the time the exchange rate was done and the shipping included owes me just shy of $700 AUS, it is NOS and i had never seen another one listed up until this one and it is correct for Barracuda, the same as the one you missed out on was specific to Barracuda also. Sometimes you really have to aim high to get what you exactly want, i always put a bid in of the amount i am willing to spend on a specific part, and if it goes for more than i was willing to pay, then it was out of my price braket and i move on.
The 8-Track bezel i have also has this cool comic strip from a newspaper in it as part of the packaging, i am guessing it was packed by a Chrysler employee back when it was first sealed, the date says it all.
