cut firewall brace

ok just curious on this one..i don't know how I have missed this but on my cuda they (previous owner)have cut this firewall brace..cut is clean like a sawsall type cut...car doesn't look to be hit or damaged in anyway around this brace or anywhere else for that matter..i don't get it..can anyone suggest any reason why?..i'll clean it up and reweld it and make it look new..but I cant wrap my mind around why?..any ideas??..these are used cars with a history..but this one has me wondering wth!..lol thanks!

Strange that someone would cut the brace like that.  It doesn't look like they were trying to remove it. 

Maybe they where just a mad hacker.  :dunno:

Maybe it was the first preparation cut for a speaker system. Then someone backed out?

Guess it's a perfect time to add those cartool braces then...
