    So would I be able to put 70 foam on my frames without a real issue?

    the 70-71' Leather seat lower buns appear to be exclusive in design.

    Any feedback on this I would appreciate it.

    My upholsterer have blamed the seat lower bun the entire time why they aren't sitting smooth.
    I needed to have them removed and find out why the problems on the material laying on the seat bun.

    The problem is: that the gaps are too wide.
    Once the seat material is stretched over, the gaps widen out away from each other.
    That was what caused so many issues.

    Legendary also made no provisions for a wire to pull down the seat buttons.
    They'll break off eventually if I left them like that.

    I don't know what to do.  :pullinghair:

    The only good news is the seat upper back portion relaxed and looks much better now after a week.

    Can't your trimmer simply fill in the low area with a similar high density foam and carve out a new groove in the foam for the pleats to accomadate your needs  :dunno:

    Legendary has made no serious attempts to address the seat bun fitment issue.
     

    I've left voicemails, e-mails to both sales and tech support and they refuse to reply back.

    Be fore warned if you buy from them.

    They're hot to sell but won't be there for you after the sale.

    I pulled everything out of the upholstery shop out today. Enough is enough!

    Tomorrow FY!cuda will work together on trying to do the bottom halves ourselves.
    If that doesn't pan out, then I'm sending the lower halfs back to Legendary and have them do it.

    These seats have been a pain... An expensive pain.

    I ended up sending the seat lower halves back to Legendary to have them do them.

    Spoke today with them on the phone and my seat upholsterer guy really screwed up.
    They have to sew new lower skirts on since he didn't do it right. More money!  :faint:

    So what do you think was the original problem? The seat covers? Foam or interior guy?

    I'll going down this road in the near future.

    According to Legendary Tech dept. the upholstery guy didn't pull it over far enough so that the front seam sits high up on the edge. Then he made holes on the sides of the skirts on re assembly.

    Those look really nice.  The Legendary guy told me that the foam for the leather seats is different than for vinyl.
