I've been trying like mad to get the tag detail on the 70 barracuda.
It has blacked out bottom, so I have some interest of course.

I'll let you all know if I get any info on any of the cars.
He has contacted me a few times and said he would be glad to work with me.

And I know, RRRRUUUUSSSSTTTTTYYYYYY crap

And I know, 80,000 into a car to have a 35,000 car,  I know, it's all crap.

The last one he has listed as a "gold 71 Cuda" is not a 71....I would guess 74 or 74.

Exactly, Bh codes. 
What I am after, only comes on a bh code 70.
I'm in even with that amount of rust if it has the right code.  Ridiculous, I know. 
But I really like yard art!

Ya sad to. See , the state of the cars in the photos . Lots of bad rust  , I know there are some very good body man  and car builders  out there .   my question is would must people try to save them . I would like to see pictures  of under the cars  the floors  etc. . The gold ebody looks a little to far gone , but I know some one could bring it back to life  .

What is the determining factor?  I can't tell the difference.

That and the wiper motor, the rear interior panel looks to have a hole for the seatr belt like in 1974, etc...

Josh:  I don't think that the car is what you think it might be.  There would be three precast holes from the factory in the rear of each quarter panel for the aluminum trim, and there are not.  Also the black on the tail panel would extend up to where those trim pieces would be, and it doesn't.  There would also be three precast holes in the tail panel by the trunk lock for the script word, Barracuda.  Again there is not.

The pin stripe is also not present.
So, the blacked out bottom is not original. Or  at least repainted to cover the pin stripe?
Also the car has a hockey stripe.
I suppose that is possible on a barracuda, but haven't seen it.
Would be cool to have the hockey stick with a blacked out bottom.

If it was repainted once, the blackout's would be different most likely anyway. As well as  having the badges shaved.

I really don't think that it is what I am always looking for, but I have to pursue it anyway.
