Wow, lots of docs with this car, surprised anybody ordered a hemi cuda with bench seat and column shift.  Nice looking car, should be interesting to see what it actually goes for.  I think it would need a 4spd and a ragtop to pull that kind of money, but I'm no expert.

uh, yeahhhhh.  :faint:
That car has been for sale forever. I think the dealer is just using it as a showcase car, asking a ridiculous price to draw attention.
Only 71 mopars selling for anywhere near that price are the hemi ragtops.

in 1980, before I purchased my first car, the guy across the street had 2 1970 shaker cuda's for sale, both near mint condition. One was a hemi with a bench seat, auto on column, for $10K, and the other a 440-6, with console and auto tranny for $6K. couldn't afford either.

Column shift would have come standard when you ordered an automatic transmission.
The surprize is how many people forgot to check off "console" when ordering the automatic. They probably just assumed it came with it.

Many people just wanted the bench seat too. column shift auto was your only choice with one.

In 1980, $10k was a lot of money. You could buy a real nice new car for that, like say a loaded brand new Trans Am, instead of a 10 year old Plymouth

This car was deliberately ordered with the column auto.  It's the "highway head" option.  This the former Reynolds tobacco heir car.

Don't get me wrong , E-Body's especially a 70 Challenger is my most favorite car ever. I love them, but no e-body is worth 2 million?  :faint:
