New addition to my MOPAR garage
« on: April 13, 2005 - 02:35:35 AM »
HI  guys

Haven't had much to say for a while, probably due to guilt re lack of progress on my Challenger. The poor thing is still sitting in a corner of the workshop waiting for some rust repairs around the front windscreen opening.
I have however just added to my garage with the purchase yesterday of 1960 Chrysler Windsor 2 dr hardtop. What a blowout of a machine it is. Looks like something from the Jetsons & drives like your lounge room, I am absolutely rapt. It never fails to draw a comment (mostly good) which is great 'cause I hate boring cars.
It's in good cond powder blue with white top runs a 361 has six way electric seat & the most wayout instrument cluster around. I bought it just for cruising until the Challenger hits the road hopefuly later this year.
Will post a photo or 2 when I get organised.

Cheers SoS

Ok sorry I'm so slow but as promised here are some pics of the new toy. The car has been christened Willy.. all to do with that old B52s song "Love Shack". You know the line that goes "I've got me a Chrysler it's as big as a whale.." & Free Willy the movie... get it? Whale... Willy..? I know it's lame but the wife loves it, anyway enjoy the photos.

Cheers SoS

Love it! It's in real nice shape. Suppose you're not haunted by the rust monster like we are here.
