My surviour
« on: March 05, 2014 - 10:42:26 PM »
This year I might see 40000 miles on my surviour.  I bought it from the original owner, and other than a good clean up, a tuneup and new tires, no attempt at restoration has been made.

It's the Rallye model, with a 360/4bbl, TF727 and 3.55 rear gears.  It's triple green, interior, vinyl roof and obviously the exterior.  I bought it in 2002 from the orginal owner who lived less than 30 miles from me.  He purchased it new from the local dealer.
Other than new tires, a good cleaning, a good tune-up and other repairs to make it reliable, nothing has been done to it.  It has not been restored, and I have no plans of doing any restoration work to it.  The orginal owner put new tires on it in 1978 when it had 29500 miles on it (I have the receipt for them), and then parked it in 1980-81.  Other than pulling it out of the garage now and then to run the engine, no miles where piled on.
It's build date was April 12, 1974, and while it can't be proven, I've been told that the rare triple green color combined with the late build date just might make this the last triple green Challenger built.
I have the build sheet for it (in pristine condition) and both fender tags are still there.

It is Number 3 of 6 that were built for the Canadian market.

More pictures will be coming.  Right now it's pouring rain, and the car is in the garage covered up.  First chance of dry weather, I'll pull it out and take more photos.
Thanks all for the kind words.
