I'll have to make a list and write it all down. LOL I'm sitting in a motel room in Princeton  WV . So nice to NOT look at 6' snowbanks!
Last time I was in WV, I checked out the Luray caverns. Kinda cool. Hope you have a good vacay!!

Went to 3 different yards today , hardly any Mopars. Just a couple of A-body's. Everyone seems to have crushed all the older stuff. Found an intersting guy at a yard with a body shop . He used to race stock cars around Myrtle beach  and had a few old race cars in the yard still. One of them he said has a Petty Enterprises tag/serial numer id tag on it. But it was an old Chev chassis? People sure are nice around here, REALLY freindly! :2thumbs:
I'm hoping to get to the Mopar yard tomorrow. I'll try phoning them first as its a couple hours drive each way.  My son begged me to stop and look at a 71 Mustang we saw for sale at the side of the road. It was a rot box, floors and frame were rotten. Oh well at least he like classic cars and not imports? I took a couple pictures of the older cars but I'll have to wait till I get home to download/post them. Tried to meet up up with some members that are local but not enough time or poor timing. Maybe next time?

Well I had  fun poking around and meeting a few folks but not much in the way of Mopars.  :( Just a few a-body Darts? I tried phoning that all Mopar yard near I- 95 but the number was not listed. The family wanted to do a few things and with the not so nice weather I decided to skip it. I figured with the phone number not connected maybe it didn't exist anymore and didn't want to chance the 5-6 hours driving to see? Here are a few pictures of what I did see?

I did stop in a body shop when I noticed a 69 RR inside the shop. The owner was a really friendly guy talked for about an hour. He had just retired from circle track racing and showed me around his stash . It was fun. He said he had saved most of his cars and had piled them up ( bare chassis) on top of each other. The bottom one he said had a ID tag from Petty Enterprises!
Sorry I didn't find a single part anyone was looking for but I tried with no luck :sadwavey:  Maybe next trip?
