1970 Challenger SE green leather seats
« on: March 06, 2014 - 10:32:51 AM »
Has anyone ever seen a 1970 Challenger SE with green leather seats?  My son owns a 70 Challenger R/T SE and it has green cloth and vinyl bucket seats. This is confirmed by the fender tag H5F8. Over the years I have seen a couple other 1970 Challenger SE with green interiors and they also had the H5F8 seats. I am starting to think that if you ordered a green interior SE you did not get leather which was said to be standard equipment??

There were no green leather seats. If you wanted a green interior in an SE or R/T SE you had to downgrade to the cloth & vinyl or the vinyl interior. The price would be lowered accordingly.

The problem or upside with green is everything is green , most cars come with black white or optional interior color , but check off green the the friggin steering wheel is green !!
