Beer of choice for poor college kids across the country. It was the indicator of who is there on their parent's dime and who was paying for it on their own or by scholarship.

What were they thinking?!?!?!   :22yikes:

They're supposed to use a 1969 Charger!!!   :screwy:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

We used to have a member here with one of those.  I forget his name.  He also made the Plum Crazy '71 Challenger R/T wagon.

Did he also make a convertible Superbird in Sublime?  :clueless:

Would love to see some more pics!

The member was 71RTSEWagon-Conv, a very creative and talented guy.  Here is a link to his thread but because there are no pics anymore (Just the red x things) I can't tell if it is him for sure BUT if you look at his signature, he has made a number of very cool things, one of them being a Superbird convertible.  If I'm not mistaken, his was Sublime, wide rear Rallye rims and he even got Richard Petty to sign the tail panel.

There are pics of similar cars to his on the internet but his was unique.  I think it also had the centralized hood scoops from something like a 1970 Super Bee grafted on to his hood.

His signature:

"71 Challenger R/T se Wagon, 71 Challenger Conv [Pace Car], 69 Charger R/T 4x4, 70 Sunroof Superbird clone, 70 Superbird Conv clone, 69 Daytona 4x4 clone, 67 Fury wagon limo factory, 70 Swinger conv, 78 Super Coupe, 78 Super Coupe Sedan Delivery, and some GMs [sorry] 70 GTO conv, 73 Z28, and more"
