Yes it will. Nothing will be hurt in the transition. Alan would have had this car done a few months ago.

:smilielol: I was thinking about it. Didn't have much cash at the time....wait a minute ....don't have much cash now either :roflsmiley:

I did try to pimp it out to a few customers at the time hoping someone would want me to restore it for them...

Glad to see it in good hands :2thumbs:

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

Thanks guys: The longblock is together except I am just setting up the valvetrain (it's a Hemi and much extra fiddling is required). We got evacuated out of the house Thursday though and don't know when we'll be let back in. At this time I am pretty sure the house and Challenger is okay but it's still a worry until I can give it a hug in person. We left the S2000 in the garage to keep it company, I drove the Hemi Coronet over to work for safe keeping and my wife drove the Cummins (gotta save the good stuff).
Hopefully I can get back on it later this week.

We're back home tonite after 5 days away from home. House is okay and no one broke into it either so we're pretty relieved. My Hemi Coronut spent a few nights outside but it was actually fun using it as any everyday driver for a few days. The one shot shows how smokey it was in my work yard where I stored the Coronut, it is a few miles away from our house but you can see how dense the smoke was. I should have gotten a shot of our street when we were hightailing it out of there but I was a bit busy. The fire came down the hill behind our house about 150 feet away, I don't know how they stopped it as there is no retardent on our lawn or house, they must have soaked the heck out of everything with water.

Longblock is done except I'm waiting for another set of exhaust rockers so I can button it up.
