Well, silly me, I was waiting for schtick to **** or get off and was waiting on pics for a couple days. I hit "see replies to your posts" with no results and went back to the original thread to finally see the new pics. I have no clue what schtick was talking about concerning his son and I really don't give two ****s.

Most people are poky with pictures (myself included), so I was trying to be patient. As soon as I saw them, I sent the PM that I was ready to go, no lowball bull****. How do you want payment? When someone says "if so-and-so and so-and-so don't buy, I will", I kind of hope that they will show the same courtesy and patience, but obviously my values are different than most.

I didn't say I wanted to "look at the car". I was ready to BUY IT. SEND MONEY. GET THE DEAL DONE. Don't put words in my mouth, jackoff.

Of course you have a clear conscience. You're a typical hypochristian. Go **** yourself.

Wow.

OK.  Lesson learned today: don't ever EVER post in a thread for an item that you're interested in.  If it doesn't go EXACTLY to plan, people get butthurt.

twalker, I didn't mean to throw you under the bus so to speak, I was just illustrating the fact that many people were working on acquiring the car without adhering to a pecking order.  Now we both know silence is golden....

FWIW I've helped my (ex) father in law with an export of a classic to Canada once. (A Pontiac Parisienne)  The paper trail was so convoluted the car sat at the border for months before my (ex) father in law just went up and got it back and cancelled the deal.  I imagine there is some kind of broker that could smooth out transactions like that?  All I know is I wouldn't try to export a car again and Jeff (the guy selling the Challenger) had his own experience with it and didn't want any part of that either.

OOPS I guess this guy is mad at me too.

On the lighter side, here are some consolation prizes found in the car:
