Quit raining yesterday, so I dragged out the Challenger and the camera.

My buddy bought an F8 360, 4 speed rallye new from Jado Motors in Prince George B.C. Last I seen that car it was in Winfield B.C. around 1979, always wondered what happened to it, it was also a 3.55 car but had full hubcaps and no vinyl top.

This one came out of Abbotsford Chrysler. It was one of two that I know of that came out of this dealership.  A neighbour of mine HAD(sold it and it's now in the US) a 74 Challenger that was one diget out from my serial number, bought from the same dealer.  His ended  in 139, mine ends in 140.  There was a rumour that there was a Challenger in Oregon with a serial number that ended in 141. I had plans of photographing my car and my neighbours, but he sold it over the winter a couple of years back before I could do this.
Originally it had full caps also, but the orginal owner thought the rally wheels were needed, so he bought a set back when. I suspect they were purchased when he put new tires on the car in 1978.  I have two of the original black rims with the ever faithful Polyglas tires still on them.  One resides in the trunk of the car.  I also have found a set of code W11 caps.  They're not mint, but at least I've got a set.
Any and all original parts (wires, hoses, belts, cap, rotor etc.) that I've replaced are in a box in the garage.  The powerful AM radio works like new, and all the lights and switches work, as does the clock.  The lighter has never been used, nor has the car ever been smoked in.

Wow, your challenger is pristine!  Your challenger and my cuda have almost identical original mileage on them.  Thanks for sharing your pictures.

Wow!  Incredible looking survivor!  Looks great!

My car originally had full hub caps when new as well.

Do you have any documentation?  Build sheets?

I have a 74 as well and I have a few questions about your car.

Argent/ silver rear panel - was every challenger like this? I have seen way more black ones as is mine just wondering whats going on there? I thought they were all black?

Would you be willing to take a few more pictures of your engine bay? I am trying to get my back to looking fairly stock I am just wondering what stickers/ decals I need and where they are located along with where some of the wires ran. I'd be extatic if you could take a few more pictures for me to reference!

I absolutely love the triple green!

thanks!

Depends on the year I believe.

Not sure for 1974 but for 1973 if you got the A57 Rallye option package it's said that the grille and "lower deck panel" are black out painted.  Not sure what the "lower deck panel" is.  :clueless:

For 1972 Rallye model Challengers the front grill and rear tail panels were blacked out.
