Octane ratings in Montana and supercharged 2010 5.7. R/T

I may be moving to Montana.  I have a 4-6 pound booster magma charger burning 93 octane in Georgia.  Does anyone know the premium gas octane level in western Montana?  Assuming it is probably 91 octane, can a blown hemi be tuned for that gas?   Trying to decide whether to keep the car?

My guess would be if you are only running 4-6 lbs you should be ok with premium gas pretty much anywhere. If you are curious though, call magnacharger they are bound to know what their systems will run on.

not sure where you are moving from but you will likely be at higher altitude so less air so that will help also

Just out of curiosity, I searched the Interweb for any info on the subject. It turns out the regular gas up there is 85.5 octane because of the altitude. So I would say to the original post, you can live on 91 Octane up there.

Yes leaving the harsh Georgia climate for placid Montana should be a breeze. We will have a base altitude of about 3000 feet.  Will be out there for a week soon.  And calling Magnacharger makes a lot of sense.  They may even be able to email a different predator tune.
