Door hinge pin question
« on: March 15, 2014 - 07:03:24 PM »
The repacement door hinge pin sets come with bushings but I don't see bushings on my car. Were there originally bushings or do I drill out the hinges and insert the bushings to get a tight fit again?

No bushings originally, you need to drill out the hinges and press fit the bushings in. The other option is to weld up the oblonged area and redrill, either way the trick is to try and keep the same hole center.

Drill hole with 11/32 drill bit. That will give you a nice press fit for the bushing.
If I cant fix it, it's broke
