70 Cuda steering wheel, what was it ?
« on: March 20, 2014 - 08:37:59 AM »
'70 Cuda

My steering wheel is wood grain grip with black plastic spokes and black horn button. I've seen steering wheels with bright metal spokes and the horn button has a barracuda on it.

What should mine be ?

Yours is the correct standard steering wheel. The one you describe is an optional "Rim Blow" wheel. :2cents:

Thanks. I've seen references to the rim blow, but didn't know what it looked like.

Any chance someone makes a steering wheel that looks like the Rim Blow but operates like a standard one ? I looked but can't find any yet. With all the stuff out there, its hard to believe no one makes it.

I too went with this wheel.  looks good installed. The only issue I had was the horn mount to the ring, it wasn't tight.  But a little fidiling made it work.
