1970 CUDA REAR LICENSE PLATE LIGHT SOCKET
« on: March 22, 2014 - 03:10:12 PM »
Hey guys; Just noticed that the socket that goes to the rear license plate light on my 70 cuda had all of it's splines broken off. I hear they may be reproducing this piece.Does anyone know the part number for it or maybe have an original one? Also looking for a nice headlight harness. Mine is cut and spliced up. Would like a nice original one. Let me know what you got. 1-414-671-3364    Thanks,Dave

Dave,  I've replaced my under dash harness and trunk wiring harness in my "73 Cuda.  I bought both at year one.  There is only one company (I believe) that makes repos of these harnesses.  I was pleased with the quality-Plug and Play.  I got mine at Year One.  As you may know, these original harness do not do well over time and can cause fires.   Replace them all.   I still need to do my engine harness and headlight harness.  They all can be found at Year One.

Hope this helps

:iagree: With the excellent reproductions available, I'm not sure why anybody would want 4o year old copper wiring in their car....just asking for trouble :2cents:

Evans wiring also makes good harnesses , the rear harness is simple enough
