Hey T8tr23
Great find and I am glad you would restore rather then resto mod which would destroy the car's value
A-66 340 challengers are unique to themselves, offered only in 1970. Don't get hung up on RT vs 340 cars. Despite the JH designation, the car came the factory with many "RT" options, sport hood, heavy duty brakes and suspension, often a rear sway bar, a bumble bee stripe and of course the high winding small block 340. You have an early car (Nov. 1969) with a rare color (black) and desirable 4 speed. The car is more rare then the 383 big block RT challengers, and often can outperform them. They are special challengers!
Couple of questions: Do you have the 15 in wheels which came on early A-66 cars, and does it have a rally dash?
I used the decoder on stockmopar.com to decode your car (below) good luck
