Broken in Pa.
« on: March 24, 2014 - 09:19:14 PM »
Looking for someone near State College Pa. My unmechanically inclined son lives there and says his cheby truck
is making a funny noise. I'm 7 hrs. away and have chemo this week. So I'm hoping someone lives nearby that
might be able to listen to it and let me know what it is. He's supposed to call me later and try to describe the sound but
I'm not sure how that's gonna go. Thanks for any help
If I cant fix it, it's broke

Andy,
Sorry to hear about your son's cheby problem.
Although I'm of no help, I thought it was a great idea for you to reach out to the folks here in hopes someone is close by to help.  :ylsuper:

Thanks guys, sounds like a bad ujoint or broken rear end. I guess I'm going to try to make the drive down Saturday morning.
Hopefully it's just a u-joint.

Thanks Dave,  I DO appreciate the offer. That's just too far to ask someone to help out. But keep in mind that
Harrisburg is only 20 minutes from CARLISLE. See you there?
