Car Covers.....
« on: March 26, 2014 - 04:02:23 PM »
I am looking to replace my old tattered indoor car cover. I have not shopped for one in years. What are the best ones for the money to use on a garaged car? I don't need rain repellant, just something to keep the dust off without breaking the bank. Thanks.... :2thumbs:

California car covers makes some fine covers to fit your vehicle.

I picked this cover out just for kicks.....

EDIT: The link didn't work as I had hoped, but at least you can see what they offer.

I bought one of the California Car covers based on the recommendations on this website.   It came in about 3 weeks including the addition of some embroidered letters.   It fit the car well (70 Challenger 340-4) even without the rearview mirror pockets (not an option for Challenger covers).   I haven't had it very long but I'm happy so far.   I looks like it will roll up pretty tight when it needs to go into the storage bag.

I bought  a 4 layer cover on eBay from usautogears for $30.  My car is kept in my garage and I use it just to keep the dust off it and keep the dirt from falling off the garage door as it moves up and down.  It's actually overkill as it is supposed to be good for rain and snow, but for the price, it works just great.  It has a soft lining so it won't scratch the car's finish.
