Floor mats for my 72 project Cuda
« on: March 27, 2014 - 10:45:03 AM »
Hey All

New here and hope I am asking in the right place!

So I am restoring my old man's 72 Cuda and for the most part, it's been going pretty well....

I am a stickler for floor mats however and was wondering if the floor mats here (http://vintageautoworks.com/mopar-muscle/70-74-cuda-floor-mats.html) are the most accurate ones for our 72 Cuda?    The site isn't very descriptive and for the life of me, I can't seem to find pics of what the actual ones looked like.....

Thanks for any feedback

Ron

They look like generic after-market floor mats to me.

Classic Industries has them.

  Here is one example...

Those are called "custom vintage" so I don`t think they are correct either. The ones you want are the one piece style which were available over the counter. The factory style ones would probably only be NOS if they even offered them and good luck finding them!  :money:

The old man swore they simply said "'Cuda" on them, so I don't think these CI ones are even close....  Thanks for pointing it out though

Yeah, these datnes ones look close, but does anyone know where I might find pics or specs of what the originals looked like back in the day?

Any sites that do that sort of thing?
