Roof skin
« on: April 01, 2014 - 03:35:37 PM »
Hello all,
I  have been waiting on a AMD roof skin for about 3 months now with no estimated ETA.

There is however a few other brands out there I see, the entire car has all other exterior metal AMD brand.
should I go with a different brand such as Golden Star brand, what is your experience with this or other brands, or better to wait?

I am very particular about body lines and a little concerned about fitment, any help would be great.

I used AMD but ordered from rosevile mopars. Only took a few weeks, roof was a little warped after shipping but fit perfectly with a little work.

AMD no question about it . I've done my challenger and my cuda both fit like a glove and usually req minimal body work. In my opinion they are the best my challenger has goodmark fender and quarter skins and the fit was god awful this was just before AMD hit the market. Imo wait for the AMD roof you'll be more satisfied and happier.

does anyone know of another source that may have this 1971 cuda roof skin by AMD on hand/in stock?
(I spoke with AMD directly (they are out) and looking at 3 more months until, possibly available.)

thats rough man but i think if AMD is out your gunna be on hold until they distribute to all the other manufactures... also try classic industries they carry AMD sheetmetal i believe but be sure to ask.

possible, and is what I had asked in my original post;
that if I was unable to obtain this AMD brand, roof skin,
what are some other brands that have been used,
and what where the pros and cons and your experience of that brands product.
