What light is this for on my dash ( see picture )? The lettering is worn off and the light just came on. I am thinking it is electric?   :wavingflag:

...Or just pull up on the emergency brake pedal. Sometimes it doesn't return high enough to turn off the idiot light.

It also comes on if there is a pressure fault in the brake system.  When mine came on suddenly, I discovered one of my rear wheel cylinders had blow and the chamber for the rear was out of fluid.

:iagree:
or when you do brake work and the proportioning valve remains off centre/out of whack from bleeding the lines.
