Flip top gas cap vs body color gas cap

The body color is just too easy to steal. I bought a 73 Challenger in 73. The body color cap was gone three days after I brought it home.  It has been flip tops for me ever since. Plus, I just really like the way the flip top looks.

That was the catalyst that made me order the flip top. My flush body colour cap went missing one night.

I don't mind the flip tops on 70 or 71's.  They were only available for those two years.  I don't like them on 72-74's.
