Head light wire routing
« on: April 06, 2014 - 10:18:33 AM »
I just installed a new forward light harness in a 72 Cuda.   Does anyone have some pictures or engineering drawings of how the wires are "hung" along the front of the radiator support?  Location of plastic loops or hangars is also appreciated.

Thanks

I believe the 70-74 were very simliar to their routing.

On my stock Yellow Cuda they route up from the drivers side fender, through the radiator yoke and then make a right turn to the other side.

I'll see if I can take some pics.

Pictures are good.  I just have it zip tied in now, and it's fine, but I would like to get it right.

There should be some flat metal tabs/fingers welded in place along and under the lip of the radiator support beam. They are hard to see unless you feel or look under that radiator support lip.

Tom beat me to it as I was fiddling with my ebrake cables today.

Hey Tom - What is supposed to go in the area where you have your coil setup now? I think that's where the control unit for A/C is supposed to go but I'm not sure.

I'll be working on my ebrakes soon. Please post on your thread about info and pics. I wanna see.

The top hole is for the wiring (from my understanding) and the bottom hole I'm not sure but they were both aligned for a coil bracket. Fit perfectly.
