NEW GUY LET DA FLAMING BEGIN!
« on: April 15, 2005 - 10:45:05 PM »
Howdy y'all-
I'm a 19 yr old Collegse student and Army ROTC cadet, and I just love late 60's, early 70's Mopars, Fords, Pontiacs, and Mercs. I have had a thing for challengers ecer since my first love affair w/one (a red '70 w a 383, red vinyl interior, white accent stripe) that my parents nixed (along with every other machine I have brought up @ the dinner table :newsad:) But don't get me wrong, I haven't given up. Vanishing Point only made my resolve grow stronger. Currently I'm driving an '00 Cougar which is okay, but a bit boring. Here in Coloradie ( I hate this place) snow somehow makes driving a rwd vehicle difficult ( I disagree, just need a steady right foot.) and the cumpulsary insurance law makes cool cars a bit expensive for kids ah, well, like me.
Anyway, cool board, I look forward to talking w/ all of you, and if anyone had anything for sale (Cuda, Challenger, Cougar, GTO, whatev.) Lemme know. I don't have a ton of money, but we can talk.

Hey crewcutkid!  Welcome to c-c.com.  Don't worry, no flaming here, it's just not like us to do that.  For most of us, Mopar is in our blood, but we can all appreciate other makes and models.  Good luck in your search for a car.  I'll let you know if I hear of anything.

LOL no not bitter, just dont want to give the newbie a false sense of security.Besides while i dont mind being Flamed I cant stand Lyers,So was just giving him the "truth on the matter".There are some here that are too prejudice to see past their noses.Me,i think all manufacturers have some nice cars, like the 70 Chevelle ss454 LS-6 I had in High School, wish i had it now,450 ponies under the hood, stock.
