Stock heads? A 750 would be ideal. I had a Holley 750 DP on a built 440, and was making
over 500 hp pretty easy. Had ported 915 heads. Had same purple cam too.
You'll be quicker on the street with a 750. Better throttle response.
I have a seriously built 496 now, and had to go up to an 850!

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"
