Not saying that you should compromise the safety of your children, but I'm curious is it a state law , personal preference, or booster seat requirement to have the 3 point? My sons booster can work with just a lap belt that's why I ask.
Its not state law as far as I know. I want to keep my child as safe as possible. The booster seat with the back works best with a shoulder belt.
I was able to add two shoulder belt setups in the rear of my '69 Charger.
Until I figure out how I want to do the rear shoulder belts in the 'Cuda, he gets to sit in the front seat because there is a shoulder belt.
