If i do not have the car in front of me how can I tell if I have right of left threaded lug nuts.
I have a 70 Dodge Challenger.

all 70 Mopars had left threads on the left side , but anyone could have swapped out the studs for right thread at any point , gently pull the lug in both directions or if you can see the stud it will have a L stamped in the end

Sorry to "hijack" this post but speaking of lug nuts, does any company sell replacement (R/H) lug nuts for our cars that are NOT stamped "1/2" on the flats??

You know Neil I had that thought just after I bought my Yellow Cuda.

Took it in to swap out the front rims and tires and at the last second I told the guy to be careful. I didn't know whether they had left hand lugs or someone had replaced them. They took it easy and found out that someone in the cars past had swapped them all for right handers.

YES ...PG Classic's has an excellent reproduction lug nut with the correct little dimple on the end. I've bought several sets !
