I keep on coming back to this picture , and the only answer I can come up with is  I think I am still in a dream. The vision of that photo is wedged deep in my head  . What dollar value is on that trailer ?   :money: :money: :money:

Five are as real as they come.  Four are real R codes, and one real V code hardtop on the top rear.  The GY3 ragtop on bottom is the only clone, that I built myself back in 2001 or so from a GY3 318 car.  I'm not sure how this pic got out, but I myself took this the early morning of June 3, 2007, just after loading up to head out to our local Mopar Alley car show in Fremont, CA.  I rented that old-school transport for the 25 mile drive because I thought it would make for a great pic.  Good times!

Awesome cars Wade!
I just found the pic searching for something Cuda related on the web... I don't even remember where it was I just thought it was too cool not to share.
I hope you still have all of them.  :2thumbs:

Thanks Alan and All.  Here's a couple more pics, from the wee hours in the morning when we first started loading, to when the lady truck driver Pam was wrapping things up just before we left.  She did a great job, but I really don't think she had any idea she was hauling anything other than some colorful old cars.

Thanks Alan for the nice comments about my MCG article.  Looks like my predictions were spot-on, fortunately so, and I just felt the major misconceptions about the value of these cars had to be made public.  Hopefully this will shed some real light on the subject.  The topmost-tier cars are terribly difficult to come by, as you well know from your sassy car.

That is really beautiful, but that poor little Challenger just doesn't look happy all by itself.  If you need to donate it to a good home ...

Again...I thought your article was spot on...even better reading it "after" the blue car went for 3.5 knowing you wrote it long before the auction was icing on the cake :2thumbs:

In comparison: ....blue car (heavily original) sells for 3.5 mil, ....purple car (heavily reconstructed) sells for 1.3 mil....still good money buy roughly 1/3 the value of a good clean example. Makes sense.

My Sassy V code hardtop (heavily reconstructed) sold for $115K still good money but 1/2 what a good clean example should sell for....

For the record...My old car is now advertised for $189K...with billboards/painted bumpers and 15" rallies... :grinno:

Can someone post a link to Wade's MCG article? I would definately like to read it.
I went back to my original post and it was Mopar Family on FB that I found the picture I posted... Where they got it I couldn't say.
I would love to read any past articles on the cars too if available.  :2thumbs:

As for MCG, look for the August issue, the one with Mr. Norm on the cover standing in front of a purple T/A Challenger.  Some guys got theirs in the mail late last week, but here in CA I received mine yesterday, so they are probably hitting the newsstands right about now.
