Can anyone tell me what these are? See Picture.

See the bracket to the left of the drivers side and to the right of the passenger side muffler? What is it? There is one on each side on this 70 Cuda. There are mounting holes on my frame rails but nothing mounted there. Is it part of the Heat Shields?  :clueless:

Not my car but it shows the brackets I'm asking about.

Those look like the factory transport tie down brackets.

They are tie downs, I restored mine and put them back on just in case I want to use them for transport.
