The repros SUCK.  They are way bigger and thicker then the originals and the woodgrain decal is all bleached out.  I sold my repop and bought a used top plate with good chrome.  Too bad you're in Canada.  I know of a guy here in Iowa with stacks of top plates.  I went through them all looking for the nicest auto one he had.

Sigh ... I'll keep looking for an original before I pull the trigger on the repo - don't need it for a few months.  Thanks guys

Sorry about that, seen the description and didn't look at the pics lol. Its a 71-74 auto, not a 70 4spd like stated lol.  :banghead:
