You never know unless you try right ! I've come accross some great deals by doing the same thing. Show up and go from there ! I noticed he's moving overseas maybe he'll work something out with you. You never know I've had people give me better deals knowing I love Mopars and was an average Joe just like them. Good Luck and you never know

You never know is right!  We were bidding on an ebay car and lost to someone...  but the car was near us so we contacted the sellers and went to see the car.  We explained we were very interested and gave our contact info.  The winner didnt contact the seller within the specified 3 days, so they sold it to us for the winning bid amount.     Wishing you luck!

I've been to that guys place, its only a hour from my house.  He restores a lot of mopars and sells em at his used car lot.  He has a 71 convertible cuda and a hemi charger.  I've sat in that blue 74 cuda, and let me just say this.  Knowing that guy, if HE would rather sell it unrestored than do a quickie on it himself and try to sell it as restored,  it must be REALLY bad.

Glad you found it.

I'd say $5000. max, but I wouldn't pay that; More like $1500. I'm cheap

You have the advantage being local, needs allot but your search will be over.

My ebuy was a local man who, after I talked about my wild Mopar years, thought now I want this `Cuda to go to you.
He knew I was the guy to bring her back.

I really and truly feel for you young guys still in HS or college, absolutey your whole life is ahead of you, but that usually also includes families and homes. And the cost of every thing today is unbelieveable, including our beloved Mopars. What do you do? All I could suggest is whatever you do don't put yourself in a $$$$$$$ position where you may loose anything. To a point I very much relate to what your facing as far as the car scene thing, granted, I'm an old fart but I'm always dreaming about just one more for the "barn", but hey I also want to retire in a about 4 years and I have to be careful not to screw up that financially speaking by going out and buying just one more. Laugh if you may, and say "oh sure", but if I was a multi $$$$$$ rich bastard I'd buy each of you youngsters a Mopar because I know first hand the thrill and joy and excitement they can give a guy, or a gal. Don't loose sight of your dream but keep your eyes on the reality of life, love ya all.
