Oil level ok. I even tried putting more in, though running in neutral, its a couple of cm above the top mark on the dipstick now. If anything, it's got maybe abit too much oil.
Maybe the torque converter needed more oil..? I filled that up untill it seemed to come back out when I put it in upright position.
Still very noticeable. It's needs high rpm to pull, especially uphill where it still seems to have way too much 'clutch'.
Way I see it, has to be one of three things.
*Torque converter problem somehow. I think I'll go for a 2000-2300rpm Converter or 1800-2100rpm.
*Kickdown adjustment - I've set kick down to be at max when throttle is pushed to max.
*Slapstick adjustment. Maybe it's not properly in gear. Everything seems normal. P is ok, R is ok, N is ok, D seems ok it does gear, so I don't know. Is it either or with those? If it gears, its ok? One cant put that slightly out of sync?
Other than that I haven't done anything to the transmission apart from draining it and changing the oilfilter and pan. Oil is Dexron 3 Automatic fluid.
