They're Back - Fiberglass Front Spoilers
« on: May 03, 2014 - 02:55:17 AM »
After years out of production, I am once again making the Dan Gurney/Sam Posey fiberglass racing front spoilers. This will be a very limited run but they are the original, hand laid front spoilers. I have ' Cuda and Challenger. They sell for $225.00 plus shipping and handling. You can contact me at    Cudaspoilerguy@aol.com    Thanks.

Might help if you post some pictures of the spoilers for both cars!

This is the only photo I have of the Challenger spoiler. This is one of the new ones sitting on my driveway, ready to paint. As you can see, it's a full width fiberglass race spoiler and street legal by not blocking out the turn signals. This is a new pc and I'll search and find a photo I have of it on a car. ( there's a couple racers out west here that have them )

Glad your offering them again.

I found a photo of a Challenger with a spoiler. I don't know what he has in the brake duct openings. It looks like something to hold road lamps? I don't know. But this is a Challenger spoiler with brake duct openings but not brake ducts.

I have enough material to build about a dozen or so. 4 are already gone.

The blue challenger looks like it has the old MAS Racing piece.  I've only seen 1 in person, and a couple on ebay.  Where did you find this picture?

I JUST bought a set of ABS T/A front spoilers.  Really tempting for a fiberglass wide one.

The blue Challenger. That's my spoiler. The picture was sent to me perhaps 15-20 years ago. The plastic MAS spoiler is not as body wide I don't believe nor the spoiler blade as deep as the ones I produce. Mine are actual heavy duty racing spoilers made to handle speeds at the track.

T/Anks for re-introducing the Challenger spoilers (and Cudas, too).   Please count me in on at least ONE front Challenger spoiler.... I'll contact you.

That is one nice Challenger begging for this spoiler.

That certainly is - one of the few with brake duct openings.

I have what I believe is your spoiler, I bought it with some other challenger parts. Mine has the vent holes.  My question is do you sell an installation kit? Such as instructions and hardware.

The installation kit I used to include was nuts and bolts. Most people used their own. Some people used quick fasteners.

As far as instructions go - for the Challenger - using a second set of hands - attach the spoiler as far forward and under the parking lamps as it can go. It fits right into that spot.

And TRUST ME on this one. If you ever put a decal on it and want it level for the car - measure from the bottom of the decal to the bottom of the spoiler for a even, level look.

These spoilers are very unique and desirable for those who know of their history and background.

If anyone is seriuosly interested, as I am, to buy one or more, consider pooling with another person here so to share/split the shipping freight expense.  LA to Chicago is approx $100 (a slightly lower $$ option exists that would take a few more days).   I'm going to buy one, maybe two, but would like to know if anyoner else out here (in the general midwest area ... ) would want to join me and help share the freight???   Conatc me quick and we can both share and save (plus gest us a reason to meet and talk MOPAR, etc... we could drive ~1/2 way or so.. to meet up.   Contact me real soon if you're interested.   (Doesn't matter if the spoiler you want is Chall or Cuda... its just the shipping cost that we'd share and save between us.)
