Attaching rear valance to '72 'Cuda
« on: May 03, 2014 - 01:03:21 PM »
My rear valance was welded to the rear quarters  :eek4:  by a previous body shop.  I am getting close to installing a new one onto  the new quarters but am unsure of what fasteners to use.  It looks like it would be the same size bolt/washers and U-nuts that are used on the front fenders, is that so?  Are there any brackets or is it a straight bolt-in?  Mine has exhaust tip cutouts if it make a difference.

Thanks

The rear valance uses 1/4-20 studs and nuts along the side, and 4 screws along the top. You can get a rear valance hardware kit pretty cheap.
