Hello everyone ! Maryland Newbie here
« on: May 06, 2014 - 09:44:44 PM »
Not new to the Mopar scene just here . Sold my 70 RR about a yr ago and have been looking for some to play with since . Well just picked up a 73 Challenger Rallye 318 JA5 V1X .  Its a original 55k mileage car but does needs some work . Planning on going with a day 2 restoration as it already has headers , 4bbl . Just ordered a new Spectra fuel tank , sending unit and fuel lines as its currently running off a can under the hood . Its going to need some body work but not too bad . Looks like i'm going to need to weld a couple patches on the cowl , drivers floor pan and a couple fist size holes in the trunk pan . The 1/4's may need a couple patches along with a couple small patches on the fenders . Well thats my strory and i'm sure i'll be asking for advise from time to time  . I'm sure i'll be scavenging the parts for sale section as there's a few things im already looking for , painted mirrors , 8 3/4 sure grip center chunk etc . Summers almost here !  :burnout:

Welcome to C.C. from Utah and remember:   :useless:
1970 Plymouth 'Cuda.  Matching numbers 440 U Code, 4 speed pistol grip, Rallye dash, AM 8 Track, Shaker hood, 15 inch rallye wheels, Dana 60 4.10, Super Track Pak.  One of 134 - 440 "U" coupes codes built in 1970 and one of 100 - 440 Super Track Paks built in 1970.

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.
