Exactly what I had to do.  They still look really good.  I have 255/50/17's on the front and had to roll the front lip edge a bit, again especially on the passenger side.  Also if you go to complete wheel lock to the right it just brushes the frame rail, but not much.

I bought the 225/50R/17's for the front on an 8" rim, be a week or so before I can try them on...

Thank you for watching....I know you're in the market for a "done" car, and doing a 100% ground up resto like this cost more, but you end up with exactly the car you want and you know every single inch of the car inside and out...no surprises... :2cents:....I can even put you on an easy monthly payment program... :smilielol:

I have used twin inline Walbro fuel pumps , external from the tank small & easy to fit & quiet , I ran 2 3/8: fuel lines direct to the fuel injection rails but the engine was making 700+ gross HP

YES...it's very very close.....For some reason, closer on the passenger side which has a reproduction quater panel. :clueless: I'm going to trim it an 1/8" or so...

How much room between your Nitto 275/50/17s and the inside fender at the top of the sidewall do you have?  I'm thinking I may have some issues if I hit a good size bump/dip at speed.  I'm running new Bilsteins with new XHD springs but may have to re-arch the springs an inch or so.

Monday 06/09/14 3 hours === 64 hours Total

So this is exciting....Last Wednesday, Thursday, didn't do anything, worked a little on my AAR, Friday I played mini-golf with my kids that were home from school..... :thumbsup:

So today, I didn't have much to do so I installed the stereo into the dash, made little sound deadener boxes :thinkerg: and installed the kick panel speakers......
You really don't understand how much in pains me to install this aftermarket sound stuff...I hate the look of it :screwy: ....So what if the guy can now make "Blue-Tooth" phone calls from his car....Who cares :banghead:

Waiting for the engine builder now....He would have been done months ago, but I made the mistake of telling him I was waiting on the transmission, so he basically didn't do much until the tranny arrived :pullinghair:

Ya, whenever I tell someone 'no rush', I end up regretting it.

Nice work!   I thought speakers in the toe kick panel often interfere with the emergency brake.  Did you have to shift the brake over to clear?

No...I was thinking that too. There is about a 1/4" clearance so you're going to want to pay attention when you're slamming on the E Brake. I tried to go without covers, or countersink the covers into the panels, but the speakers are just too wide to do anything with.

This project is sitting idle while I wait now for the engine builder :pullinghair: .....At least I have time to woek on my AAR now, but that doesn't pay the bills. :crying:

Perhaps a dissassembly thread?
