Do most of your clients supply parts or just get you to buy them all and they pay the final bill? I know you may not want to have this public but if you don't mind answering what's the average cost to the customer after restoring a car?  I know the price will very depending on hope much they supply ect.

Also do you undercoat the car if it's a factory under coated car? I know it's not as nice , do people request this?

My Rates:
$40/hour
Parts = My Cost plus 15%
Outsourced Labour = My cost plus 10%

With most customers I supply most if not all the parts. THis insures that the parts are the correct ones, the best quality available and have been bought at the cheapest price.

I don't just go to YearOne and order everything for your car. I shop around to find the best prices and try and buy direct from the manufacture. I have several accounts with suppliers that give me wholesale pricing which is past on to the customer. For instance: Fine lines gives me 33% off of list. MegaParts, 15% Dales Cuda Shop 20% etc...

I buy over $35K in parts every year easily.

I'll undercoat a car if the customer wants it...

Monday 08/11/14 4 hours === 110 hours Total

Was able to finish up the wiring and install the exhaust. Fired right up and idle nice. I didn't want to play with the fuel injection too much because the engine builder said he pretty much had everything set.

Car is off to get the allignment done, so it's pretty much finished as far as I'm concerned. I hope I get it back so I can take it for a drive at least

A job well done!  :clapping:
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

did you install a pedal stop on the clutch pedal? pics?

I just locked two nuts on the threaded rod at the fire wall. The pedal can only be depreesed so far until they hit the firewall. Seems to work good, sorry no pictures.
