« on: May 08, 2014 - 09:32:40 PM »
Looking for a Speedo needle for my speedometer in my 71 challenger. Broke the needle before I got the chance to change out the gears in the transmission :faint:. Any help is appreciated!!! :2thumbs:

Strictly from my own personal experience.... don't waste your time/money on a new needle because you will only break another one. Odds are the speedometer itself is bad and you will only break another one. Either send yours off to get fixed by shops like Redline, etc or get a restored one from Roseville, etc..

I had to do a lot of talking but I eventually got a gauge rebuilder to send me a needle , generally they will not do it though

Don't remember where, but there's a place that sells the needle end.
You glue the arrow tip on the broken piece.  Easy fix, it's easy to damage the needle getting it on/off the shaft.

Thanks for the replies guys. It's a rally dash and I plan on taking it apart at the end of the month to repair or replace........hopefully. :scared:
