Greetings Gents,
I recently purchased a lot of parts for my 1973 Cuda. One of things I bought was a new Cowl to Hood seal complete with clips. Well, when I opened the package the clips were not attached to the seal. The clips are shaped in the form of the letter "M" with small barbs on some of the edges. The problem is that I have no idea how these clips are installed much less how they grip the seal. Can anyone provide a picture of how the clips are attached to the seal as well as to the slots in the cowl? It would be a great help. Also, the seal has one flat side and the other is slightly curved. I'm assuming that the flat side of the seal is the one that goes down against the cowl. Am I right about this part anyway? PO removed and never replaced parts like this so I have to rely on the good folks here to get it right. It gets a little pricey when you try to install stuff the wrong way and end up messing up your parts. Thanks for any help.
