We're sorry, but due to budget concerns summer has been downsized. Last year, too many summer days went by without proper utilization and it was decided that this year summer would be shortened to allow for proper use without wasted days. Summer will be reviewed this fall and it will be decided what length to make next summer based on this years records.
Thank you for your concern.

They were warning of frost last night though it doesn't look like it happened at my place.  Good thing as I planted my tomatoes and peppers last weekend!
There is a Chicagoland Mopar Connection car show tomorrow, though it is supposed to warm up some, to near 70.  And dry.  Hopefully a good turnout at their new location for the show.
I'm down in the dumps regardless.  My '70 convertible is a leaker and at the end of last season I noticed the leaks had really got out of hand.  I looked into doing a refresh of that car over the winter including a rebuild of the engine and resealing the transmission, updating some other things while the car was down.  But it isn't in the budget right now and other than maybe taking the car to a cruise in my town less than a mile away and another cruise several miles away, I think that car will be down for the season.  And my '71 developed a starter problem at the end of last season, and I've been going crazy trying to fix it, been under the car 5 or 6 times since October taking out and putting in starters, and I've been through about the entire electrical system related to the starter....no dice.  I put my "known good" vert starter in it a few evenings back and have the battery on a trickle charger, will try it out today.  If it doesn't work I'm out of ideas how to get that car back on the road.
I have my '09 R/T which I take to cruises sometimes but I really prefer to take vintage rides.
So this season is looking depressing for me and weather is only a small part of it!

Little chilli here today, but I pulled the car out of the garage, gave her a bath and went for a quick spin.

Them the battery died, so I hope I do no need a new one.

Did the battery die while the car was running? If so, the problem isn't the battery.

Do you have a volt gauge or amp gauge to monitor the charging as you drive?
