Well, I finally managed to re-adjust the carb so the Chally will at least start again, altho it is not near full performance.

Finally received the Harms Pistol Grip auto-shifter.  I LOVE IT!!!  Can't stop driving the slap-stik without rowin the gears now.  I CAN'T GET ENUFF OF IT!!!  :burnout:

Oh...and my wife had a baby girl!  7Lbs 15 oz. 21"...our first.   :guitar: :dogpile:  :wasted:

Altho I have been driving the Chally every day since we got home on Thursday, MAN I need sleep!!

Congratulations!!! How's momma doing?  Do we get to see a little baby pic??

We love our Harms pistol grip too.  Feels real heavy.  Really nice workmanship.  What kind of finish did you get on the handle?

Momma is ok, altho she underwent an emergency C-section and she will need some time to heal.

The grip is in the 'stock' woodgrain (plastic) finish.  Installation was a breeze, and feels SO good in one's hand.  I can't believe the difference it makes in driving the car.

Thanks for the kind words everybody.

As for pics...

Nice Work !    (good going on the car too  :grinyes:)

Swapped out the Magnum 500s  for  Rallye wheels this weekend

and while I was in there with the wheels off,  I put new disc brake pads up front and new brake shoes on the rear.
the 275-50s fit nicely back there even though theyre 7" rims.

otherwise I just bought more odds and ends stuff ( Street Dom 440 intake, A/C crankshaft pulley )

4 more weeks till the Keisler 5 speed shows up !

New step-up rods and springs (richer) in the carb. Runs much stronger, but still chasing a mysterious part throttle bog when the engine is hot.

Congrats challenger72rt on your adorable little girl!!!  And you named her??

Well I try to work on the car every day and was hoping to get the convert top installed but the shop d!cked me alittle . . . I had the guy come over and inspect the car.  He told me to get my latches and recievers installed and give him a call. I asked about the boot top and the well liner for the car and he said he could get tht stuff.  So I call the other day and tell him I'm ready and ask if he has the boot and well liner??  He then tells me that I should probably supply those things and to call him when I'm ready!!         So as soon as I hung up, I called and ordered the stuff.  Hopefully be in soon!!  I also sandblasted the bumper brackets and am still waiting for the last one so I can finish up the front.  Finally found some chrome bumper guards for the back bumper and as soon as they arrive I can finish up the back.  Still collecting parts and CP has a few things for me too!  Finally found the proper hood latch so I will be securing that this week too!!  Not much time left til CARLISLE!!   :stomp:   :stomp:

You feeling the pressure too??!!  4C, what else do you have left after the top and the bumpers are done?  We still have to install exhaust, front grill area, hang doors and hood, vinyl top, glass, trim and take it back to the body shop for buffing....all in 2 months.... :ack:

Awe, c'mon you two.  You know there's plenty of time left to get these cars ready for the show. :grinyes:  When you don't have a car you're planning on bringing it seems like it takes forever for this great event to happen... :'(
