Maybe you can take a trip to Lancaster, and figure out how to drop a hemi into one of those Amish buggies.   :roflsmiley:

But seriously, if you have any interest or curiosity in the Amish, there are plenty of things to see and do over that way.

I've been out of the loop, CP.  Are you guys driving down?  Amish country has lots of covered bridges to tour - very fun thing to do, IMO.

http://www.pacoveredbridges.com/lancaster-county/

There's of course Hershey Park, though I don't suspect you guys are the Roller Coaster type...  Still, there's some neat stuff in Hershey, including a car museum:

As far as capitals go, Harrisburg is one of the smallest and - again IMO - least interesting...  But there is the state capital and some various museums in Harrisburg:

Depending on how far you're going, the big cities aren't really THAT far away - Philadelphia and Pittsburgh are both about 3 hours from the Mechanicsburg area.  There's also York, Lancaster, Gettysburg, Allentown (which I'd skip if I were you...) and Scranton.

Yeah sorry I was out of the loop.  Last I heard there was talk of driving down from Canada.  Please forgive my lateness to the knowledge party!  :)

Well there are a few options from what it sounds like...

If your flying into Philly you can take the R1 SEPTA (regional rail) downtown and check out some of the sights downtown and grab a cheese steak

If your into history then check out  the Gettysburg battlefields and museums. There is also the Strasburg railroad which is pretty neat

There is a lot to do in the Lancaster/Harrisburg/York area just depends on what your in the mood for. Shoot me a pm and let me know what kind of activities your into and I can point you in the right direction
