Wow! thats way off. I wonder how they can sell them and stay in business...

:iagree: I was like a week away from ordering one too! Articmopar.... I wouldn't run it like that. If it had a u-joint there ok maybe but the stock set up is just not meant to run like that IMO. I sucks but you could shim the one side of the box to try and cut down the angle some?

I'd try it and see?  Really though I'd be looking for Borgeson to replace it!  :stomp:

Yes I will talk to Borgsen, but I know they will say I/m on my own because they say their ujoint coupler that your suposed to use will compensate. But the Ebody colum wont like that from what were told. I have a tuff wheel and dont want to give it up with an Iditot colum.
Headers...thats another can of worms, I,ve already had to move the two center pipes over to make room for the new block, If I had any budget left for this summer the oem box would already be headed to Firmfeel.  :dupe:

The Ididit steering column has a precision ball bearing on the end where the steering shaft exits the column housing and is designed to have a universal joint on the end, it also uses the standard double D steering shaft which is much accurate (.much less total run out) than the factory column.   I wouldn't want to run a universal joint on the original column without a support bearing pressed in the end of it. You can get a steering wheel adapter to run a tuff wheel on the Ididit column.  :2cents:
