Could use a little Clutch help.

All 3 arms sit high and actually Sit against the casing with it sitting uninstalled. But your right, one does seem to sit higher than the others. When this thing was installed, i looked in side and it seemed like i had very little room for it to be depressed before it hit the clutch disc springs. Pulling it out, i could see that it had. Something isn't right with this pp. Frustrating, how things cost and yet we don't get anywhere. I guess i will call Mcleod's today and see what they want to do. Hope i can find my receipt, from Brewers where i got this thing.

Mine had also came from Brewers. McLeod told me to ship mine to them and they would look it over and make any changes that was needed then ship it back. I live in Illinois and with my expense to ship it to them plus the time it would take to get to California, they take a couple days to fix and then the time to get it back I felt the hell with it and spent the $210 for the Ram pp which was in stock locally and was back on the road and happy.

Chingercrazy you have the same problem as I had. The adjustment bolts are way too far down inside the locknut on the PP. It has to go to a clutch outfit that can set it up. After that the issues are gone.

I went ahead and ordered a Centerforce II diaphragm clutch, while i figure this other thing out. The cost to ship this thing all over the place was un-healthy. I think i will try and find a local shop that can adjust it or something. Hate to have something new like this just sitting around. Thanks for the tip.

Took Bob's advice(4 speed fish) and got a centerforce diaphragm clutch. Installed it and dang if it didn't solve all my problems. After 7 years of building and putting things together, it finally moved on its own.

So was it the clutch fork or the pressure plate or both ?

Mcleod Pressure plate was the problem. With the new center force, everything lined up perfectly and i was actually  able to go back to the original adjusting rod.

It appears that McLeod has a serious problem. That's at least 4 in this forum alone that have been bad.
